Maybe a Carb Issue?
Hey all! So recently, I have noticed a 'hiccup' if you will, in my truck.
It happens when My RPM's are lower and I have the gas pushed halfway down or more (for instance, climbing a hill).
What Happens is, it sounds like a little "pop"/"bang"followed by some silence and I lose all throttle power for about .5 of a second, and then everything slams back into gear as if I'd just slammed the gas pedal on or let the clutch out really fast. This whole cycle happens in almost a second.
The sound and sudden loss of power is similar to when the truck runs out of gas, but my tank is pretty much full.
Anybody have any idea what's going wrong and what I might try to fix it?

To me, it sounds like an ignition issue. A moment of lost spark then once it is regained the excess build up of fuel is burnt off.
I would updating some of your distributor components even the cap and wires.
