mid/late 90s silverado

Quick question to help in my search. In general, would a mid/late 90s Chevy Silverado be any easier or harder to work on a Dodge? Just trying to figure out which to get.

Thanks!

I looked at Fords, Dodges and Gms... The Dodge was definately out due to weak transmisions. Then I lifted the hood on a 90 model Ford and a 90 model Chevy.... Go with a GM... Preferably a 5.7 NOT a 5.0.... 5.0 in a few words... SH!@Y gas mileage. Enough said.....
I had a 90 model Chevy C1500, 5.7, 700R automatic tranny, RCSB, sliding rear window, all power, 373 gears, Edelbrock intake, JBA shorty headers, single glasspack then dualed out, underdrive ASP pulleys, K&N filter, homemade ram air, Hypertech Thermomaster chip with a 160 degree stat. Could have done more, but bought my 04 GMC.... DAM I mis that truck.....
