MPG

I know when I first bought my Silverado, the listed MPG was 21 Highway and 18 City. I know this is not an actual representation of the true mileage since my average MPG's for the last 6 years have been 14 to 15 MPG's...

After the Intake system, muffler and Diablo Predator 87 Octane tune, I have raised my MPG's back up to 16 to 17 MPG's.. I actually drove 370 miles on one tank.. Probably could have gotten more if I actually drove the speed limit, also I noticed that I kinda punch it off the line ever since I put in my Intake System :)

What is your Average MPG's???

I got 19 on the highway the last time I took it for a long drive. And it's still a stock truck (it was before I descreened MAF)

Same here 19 on highway and thats with a ton of hills. I have a 180 degree thermostat. Do you guys think that will help or harm my mpg. I know that in the winter it prob will.

RE: MPG

Cool. Does it pull better? Like merging into traffic and going up hills?

Same here!

If I am pulling the racecar, (same speed on the interstate) I get 13-14 average...

regular driving - 16.5, taking it easy 20. No long highway numbers yet though. I usually get about 400 miles to a tank.

I've been getting 15.5, but I haven't checked again since I installed a Granatelli MAF.

RE: MPG

Hunt- I think you know better than that.

I tried to get my boss to race again last night, but no go. What a wus, so I just made him look bad to the CEO who was riding with him.

RE: MPG

i was getting poor mileage around 14 but since i replaced the throttle body ive gone about 100 miles on an eighth of a tank. what a jump.
