My truck sounds muffled. Why?
I was on the freeway yesterday going around 70mph(this is a guess, my speedometer doesnt work). When i went to pass a car and hit 4k rpm my truck sounded muffled.I let go of the gas and then it ran fine. I was a lil scared to hit that rpm's that high again so I just waited when i got off. When i stopped i reved the motor on park and sounded fine. I havent tried driving it in 4k rpm again but I will after work. It sounds like water got into my intake but I cant recall of anything that I did that would cause that. Is there anything else I can check?
Well if it's running perfect now it's unlikely they're bad but if one broke up internally you would feel very little or weak pressure coming out of your exhaust tips. Course if your exhaust is still mostly factory like mine where the pipes join together just before they enter the muffler then it'll be harder to differentiate it like that cause one cat will still be good and will have good pressure coming through it still.
I'd ask Argon what he thinks about it though.

Well actually, I have two flowmasters so I mite be able tell a difference. I have them dumped rite after the flowmaster so Im guessin it should be farely easy to check the pressure from the tips.
