If it's the ignition control module auto zone might be able to test it.I know they can with the ones from Ford engines however I'm not sure about Chevrolet parts.As for fault codes popping I don't know if it would throw em or not.I'd take the old one with you and ask if it can be tested.If it's good there's no sense in paying for another good one right.I'm glad to hear that you're making progress

One thing I failed to tell you is that I am from England. lol. These trucks aren't your usual things over here. Dont have Auto Zones over here, tho I am going to Florida in 3 weeks. If i haven't fixed it, I will bring the module with me and get it checked there.

Ah alrighty.I just made the stupid assumption that you were from the states lol Well hello there across the pond!!! Are there a lot of Chevy trucks running around over there? I have no idea of the amount of trucks that are exported to Europe. Never really thought about them being exported much.

Yeh. thanks. Its far to good to chop up. I've worked hard on making it fast without damaging it. Its a fine example of a 67. No rust and as straight as you get.
