Hello everyone,

I have steering wheel mounted controls on my 05 sierra. I noticed the lights on some of the controls on the steering wheel controls and on my radio have gone out. Is this a fuse problem? It is only a few of the lights not all.

Exp: My volume button is out but the fuel center button is one, etc.

Im almost positive they are non serviceable. I know th e ones in the radio and heater controls are.

 

I have the steering wheel controls too and I took mine back to teh dealership to warranty them after tehy burned out. I believe they are not serviceable, because when I got my truck back I had new controls on the left hand side of the steering wheel. and here a month later the right hand side of the control lights have burned out. So guess what it is back to teh dealership for more warranty work. Gosh you gotta love an extended warranty with a zero deductible.
The lights in the radio and teh heater controls are replaceable? My heater controls were replaced when the light went out behind the left side temperature control. Once again warranty...

 

Infact since we are discussing the steering wheel controls on this thread... Does anyone have a stock steering wheel with out the steering wheel controls? I would really like to do away with mine and go to a steering wheel without the buttons... after all the radio is in reaching distance.
