I'm not sure the exactly how tall it is but mine will go in the garage with about 2 inches to spare, literally! When my current tires wear out, I'm going to go a little bigger, which will make it a little taller. I really like my lift. It was expensive, but well worth the money. What amazes me the most is I still have a considerable amount of comfort when taking long trips. I had a 95 Z-71 with a 6" lift and 38's and it rode like complete ****! I'm sort of partial to Rancho so that is what I've always gone with, but there are a lot of other excellent products out there. Just take your time and find what'sbest for you. If you need any help let us know.
well you seem like a great bunch of guys. thanks for the welcome. my truck is a 06 stock 6.0 1500. i want to do something with the exhaust for a little better sound. and do you know of any performance up grades. this truck really runs good but you know we always want just a little more. and what a bout gsa millage anything for that. i know that has a lot to do with your foot in the pedal. well thanks in advance any and all comments.
to start, you need to look at cold air intake, throttle body spacer, throttle body coolant bypass (free), headers, free flowing exhaust. That will make big improments, and help with gas milage (except with all that extra power you will gain a heavy foot).
Headers, keep the cats (you don't gain much and you lose gas milage), then cat back. I have ceramic coated edlebrock headers, and am going to put on dual flowmasters with an x-pipe. The best prices I have found are st performancecenter.com. I would definately start at either all intake or all exhaust then go to the other. I only did headers at first and feel like they are not able to flow due to the stock mufflers.
