there is a coolant line that goes to your throttle body to help warm the air in cold environments. just unhook this from both sides of the throttle body, and pull the hose from the passsenger side to where the drivers side connects to the block and attach it. than cap off the throttle body ports with vaccuum line caps

that sounds easy, keeping the air cooler must keep truck running crisper and sharper

Yeah it should. I have not done it yet, but alot of guys here have and like it. As soon as I find out my current milage issue I will do it. Just do not want to change anything till i figure it out.
