new question about headers
do headers make a noticeable difference in exhaust tone or sound level? and if so, is there a noticeable difference in shorties vs. long tubes in the sound department?

Yes even on a stock exhaust system you will notice a little more rumble. On aftermarket exhaust it will sound meaner. I do not know about the sound difference between long tube and shorties tho.
