Default new stuff

hey everybody! I have been very busy latley but i have still managed a few mods. Tinted front windows, I removed the giant chevrolet letters from the tail gate and put a bow tie back there just like the 08's have. I bought some fog lights to install and the best thing i got were bass blockers for my newly installed speakers. these things are incredible for 10 bucks a pair. I can now turn the volume way way up with out blowing the door speakers and it allows for the subwoffer to really humm. if you don't have these you should they are worth their weight in gold!

Did you put them on just before the speakers in the door or at the stereo. I might have to look into that for my truck. I can't get a good balance between bass to my sub and to my door speakers without killing the door speakers.

Are you guys still using the stock HUs? Shoot I use the crossover built into my KDC-X590 to tune my 6x9s to 120hz then my highs to 220hz while my sub is @ 80hz. It seems like the bass blocker is just that, it changes the x-over frequency to high enough hz where the lows arent picked up. Also you guys could change the x-over on your amps to do the same thing too(if you had external amps). Got any pics of the tint installed along with your new chevy sticker? :P

This answers my stero/ speaker question I've been debating. I didn't understand any of that lol! I think I'll get my stuff installed by a pro.

Radio shack used to carry them, just specify what frequency you wish to block out. Where did you get yours Popo?
