NEWBS CHECK IN!!
Hey guys, total truck/chevy noob here. I just moved into a house needing some work and was saying how much I wish I had a truck to pick up lumber/drywall, so when my dad bought a 2012 Silverado last week he gave me his 99 Silverado. My last 3 cars have all been Hondas (89 CRX, 95 Civic and 05 Civic - current car) so this is completely new territory for me.
The truck is completely stock, and will probably stay that way for a while, but I'd like to do a few minor things to it if I can. As it stands right now, it needs a few minor repairs (ball joints, tail pipe and a bit of welding on the frame), but in the last few days I've already hauled some stuff with it, and I've grown attached to it already lol.

Newbie here, from Colorado.
This is my rig. I bought it new back in 2001. It has been through a lot, including hitting a buck back in 2010 that did a lot of damage, but it's back to good now, and I worked with the collision center (also a ranch hand dealer), to get a replacement bumper instead of the stock one. It cost me $245 out of pocket for the bumper upgrade.

Nice looking truck. Start with the 1.5" Ready Lift leveling kit. You won't regret it. Makes you wonder why it doesn't come that way stock...feels more like a truck.

Clean slate. A few mods are a great way to personalize it and make it your own.
