Hey, I replyed to your message and all 99-02 trucks are the same, so you should have no problems

if you just take off the cats you will need a bypass for the sensor on the cats. if it reads wrong then you might get a funky ride. its not legal to do this in CA but if you know someone at a shop they can do it.

RE: NO CATS on new trucks

Your truck has 4 oxygen sensors, two on each side. One is before the cat, one is after the cat. The one before the cat senses how rich/lean your engine is running. The one after the cat senses how the cats are working. The sensors before the cats are the important ones. If you send your cats to live with God, the rear sensors will pop a code. This code can be eliminated by O2 sesnsor simulators. They are sold by Summit Racing and maybe Jeg's. Or, you can get a custom tune and they will eliminate this problem for you. PCMforless.com
