Default NO heat and winters quickly approching

I have a 2000 3/4 ton GMC 4x4 with 160K miles and am having a heat problem. The problem is that the fan blows but no heat comes out. So I have replaced the thermastat when the water pump went bad about 5K miles ago. Along with that I flushed the coolant at the same time. cheked all the fuses still no heat. This truck was a previous Florida truck and the heat did not get used that much if that means anything. Any help or suggestions would be great!!!!

Did the heater core resolve this issue. I've having a no heat issue in my GMC Sierra 2000 5.3L. My coolant level is fine, I feel heat on both heater hoses. But no hot air comes out of any of the vents.

That's not true. We Floridians use the heat for atleast a good whole month out of the year.......
