nv4500 swap
 

hi i am new here! i have a 1993 chevy 4x4 3/4 ton with a nv4500 bolted up to a 5.7 tbi, the trans. went back in jan. with alot of viberation then grinding then a boom and now it has nothing at all wont move! i have no clue what happened fluid was full of the castrol syntorque that it cals for. i found a nv3500 from out of a 1990 1/2 ton 4x4 with a 5.7 tbi i was thinkin bout buyng it and put it in place of the nv4500 i dont do heavy hauling with the truck other than firewood will the nv3500 bolt in place of th nv4500? both trucks have the np241 t-case. i hope this is enough info to get an answer thanks!!
