oil change light

need to know how to turn off the CHANGE OIL light on my 00 serria.
i started coming on couple days ago really starting to get annoying.

turn the key on,and pump the gas pedal 3 times sharply all the way to the floor....then keep the key on and just wait about 10 seconds...the light will begin flashing...its reset when the flashing stops
