does anyone know if the 4.3L has an oil pump regulator? I have an 4.3 that has high oil press. and am wondering if it the regulator might have hung. has anyone heard of this. I dont think I spun a bearing or anything due to this engine has not been abused and is fairly low mileage. 60,000. any ideas? thanks

 

what do u call high oil pressure? it should idle at about 10 and go as far as50 while running.
