Oil Pressure

Hello all.
I have a question about my oil pressure.When the engine warms up and I come to a stopthe oil Pressure drops below 40. Is it normal for the Oil Pressure to drop below 40?

yes..modern vehicles run aS low as 8 hot..its a "higher-volume-lower-pressure system

my 99 5.3l 325ci runs about 40-50psi at idle and 70-75 underhard acceleration.
