oil pressure

my dad has a 2005srt 10 viper powered truck and we were riding down the street at he looked down and his oil pressure was at 20 psi any body got any insight

Just a guess of low to no oil, bad pressure sending unit or possibly a bad oil pump. One of those three is most where your problem lies.

Yeah, it sounds like he might have some problems.

What's his oil pressure at idle, and does it increase at least 10psi for every 1,000 rpm's ??

I think the problem is that it is a DODGE and it doesn't have a CUMMINS in it...
