my buddy's 96 (or 97... not sure) z71's oilpressure gauge is basically wagging between 20-40 driving down the road... about four times a second... the truck is running fine, so i told him its probably the gauge, but i have no clue...

any idea what the problem might be?

 

USUALLY the sending unit....a real biotch to change too...by the distributor
