i also did the click the dome overide 4 times nothing happened other then me ablle to control the lights any help would be appriciated im gonna mod the drls after i can figure out how to get them working again and my truck is an 01 silverado 2500 hd 6.0 manufactured in the states if that matters any |
When I bought mine, both bulbs were burnt out as well as the fuse.
i have replaced teh fuses and relays altough they didnt need it im leaning towards checking the sensor and the drl control module then maybe the body control module next but if it goes to that im not gonna bother just to be able to mod them
ok so if i can get my drls working
this is the mod i want to do i didnt do this i found it surfing you tube

Make sure your parking brake is ALL the way up by pulling the release handle, and the peddle up. That's one of the weird things in Chevys and GMC's, if you push the parking brake, it turns off the DRL's, even if the truck is in gear.
i will certinaly try that when i get around to it tomorrow
And there is a easier way to do that mod.
If There is an easier way I'm all for it this guy just used a diode
I have mine so all my lights can come on at the same time, Hi's, Low's, DRL's, and the four KC Daylighters that are wired to my factory driving lights.
