Well i went out for a drive and I saw a truck on the side of the road for sale, pulled over to look at it and turns out it was my first truck. (dents and custom changed matched) I bought it back today and decided i'm going to fix it up nice and spend the extra money to make it how i want, but first to get the major problems fixed.

Needs to get a rebuild done to the tranny, fuel pump replaced, needs a seat put in.

What i want to do, add 3/4 ton springs, new tires, new paint, cab corners/ rockers, flowmaster 10 series muffler, with 3 inch stacks, and put a flat deck on

I was wondering if anyone had experience putting deck on a truck that had a fleetside box on it before and what needs to be done to mount it on

Fist picture is what my truck looks like now and second is somewhat what i want it to look like when i'm done

Maybe its just me but i dont think you should put stacks on a gas truck. IMO thats one of the stupidest things but to each his own that jmo.

Stacks on a gas truck... although not common, i do recall this one truck. Back in the late '70s early '80s.... you might have heard of it.... Dodge's 'lil' red express. ☺
