I was wondering what people that have their truck tuned what they thought about it.

 

I noticed a huge difference with the programmer. But I recommend the flash paq tuner from superchip, for about 100-150 more than the programmer you add the ability to download updates right from your laptop or desktop and you can give them info on what you have for mods and they will send you the best program to run on your truck. What else is bad *** is you can add a new mod to your truck, tell them and they will send you a new program within the next day or so for free. I need to get one to run my bbk throttle bodie properly. The only thing to becarefull of is how hard you set your shift pressure firmness on the trani. I had mine set too high and blew a few seals. I now keep it just above stock pressure and have put 10kplus on the new trani without any worries.

 

I have had the hand help programmers before and finally went with a custom tune, I liked it enough and it made enough of a difference I am now a dealer for Westers Garage.

 

Hand held programmers are OK, but a custom tune is the only way to go for max performance, and the price is about the same.
