I have mismatching steel wheels on my truck, and its starting to bother me. I have two new good black wheels on the front, a little faded paint, two semi rusted silver wheels on the rear, and two silver wheels in the back that are in better shape, but I was told don't hold air.

Now my question is, if I paint them all black, and put a chrome Chevy lug cover over it, which would look better on my truck, silver with a chrome lug cap, or black with a chrome lug cap.

Same goes for my side view mirrors. One's chrome and one is a rusty black. I could replace either mirror depending on color I like.

I could have the black rims media blasted and I can paint them silver, or I can have the silver ones media blasted and paint them black.

I'm the last person who should respond because I'm like Henry Ford. You can have any color, you want, as long as it's black.

 

hah that's okay, thanks for the reply. All opinions are welcome. I'm sorta leaning toward black too, but I might as well collect a couple of opinions.

 

As a painter, I always loved spraying black and you have to admit that when it's clean, nothing looks better

 

hah well ... I'm only looking to paint the rims right now. The body is ... falling part. I don't know how much longer it will last if I don't repair it, which might not happen, as I'd love a 4x4.

But yes, a nice deep black is absolutely beautiful
