Default Painting Radiator Brace?

2005 Silverado Ext. cab LT

Behind my grill there's what appears to be an upside-down u- shaped brace(grey metalcolored) that i can see clearly infront through the grill. Point is that its ugly. I was wondering if and how I could paint it and what kind of paint would work best.

Thanks.

Just pop off the grill and paint it. I did it when it wasnt windy.

It's part of your core support. And there's no reason to not paint it. I did mine also.

Didn't do my 99 but I did my 91 and all the surrounding metal brackets behind the grill with black Hi-Temp engine paint. Worked fine.
