Parking brake help
I have a 2023 Chevy Silverado. I purchased it earlier this year. Have lots of things wrong with it already but one of the biggest irritants about it is the automatic parking brake. Anytime I park in my driveway which has a very faint incline, The parking brake automatically sets. It will not automatically disengage after I start the truck and put it in reverse so I have to press the button to disengage the break. Half of the time the parking brake will not disengage when I push the button and before anyone asks yes I step on the break very hard just like when I start or shift the vehicle out of park. The only way to get it to move is to with the vehicle gear step on the gas which burns the tires in my driveway. I do not want an automatic parking brake and only want the brake to set when I wish it to be set like every other vehicle that I have owned. Does anyone on here know how to disable the automatic parking brake? Please help, my driveway is looking worse by the day. Thank you.
