Default Performance chip
I have a 95 silverado 4x4 with the 5.7 V8 andI was wondering if anyone has chipped their truck and if the result is worth the cost. I was looking at a Venom 400 chip. Any suggestions or feedback?

I wanted to do the same thing to my truck but everyone on here says it is more beneficial to do a custom PCM tuning by a local shop or a shop online like Wheatley Tuning or one of the other various tuning shops.

Im with 72charger i am going to do a custom tune by charlie wheatley when i get the money for it.

how much do those usually run? over the price of the pretuned chip?

The regular Wheatley price is $250, so yes cheaper than some tuners and more than some chips, but well worth the price.
