I got mine from Autozone for like $12 a piece and for the tailgate as well. The brake calipers might look cool in red too. All in all though that thing is sharp!;) I couldnt afford the tilgate handle at the time... thanks for the comments. :D |

I would leave the Z-71 stickers on. You bought a Z-71 so be proud to show it. Also when you get the performance mods, it is nice to beat someone and then they see they lost to a 4wd.

Dude in the Hondai asked me how many mods I had. at the time, none. but thats back when i had my stock tires. it would be a close race now. :D |

idk i got the entire chrome handles. but then again i have solid chrome rims and a dark debadged truck so it stands out better to me.

Your door handles are much smaller than ours though if I remember correctly. On the newer bosy style pickups they look really tacky. I'd take my handle frame off and paint it to match the truck first. They do that on the Escalades and stuff and it looks really good.

yes the painted with chrome middles look real good. im thinkin of possibly painting the outer portions of my mirrors to kinda match the body kinda like the newer body styles.

ORIGINAL: rxsteven Yeah me to I dont like the chrome on my mirrors. But while at a swap-meet, i found my current mirrors, off a 2001 base model silverado for $20 in perfect condition! So Im happy with my black mirrors. Theyre easier to clean than chrome/painted also. |

Just a recent thing on the tires/wheels:
The truck uses more gas, thats for sure. The Kumho's grip great on the road, and pull hard in the mud. But I spin them every once in a while and the tread looks more worn than they are. They better not wear out any time soon. After all they have a 50K mile warranty. The wheels are still looking good, but are a bitch to clean. I dread washing my truck today because of the wheels. [:'(] overall, Im liking the truck. now I want to buy a 2nd truck, like a 82-98 4x4 reg cab sb truck to play around with and keep the miles off my Z. |
