Vortec Heads
I am looking into getting a set of vortec heads for my 94. Anyone know places that sell those or should I just go to the junk yards and look around.
But my main reason for posting was to ask does anyone know what other mods i will have to do along with that such as intake or anyhting esle? Or do they just bolt on with no extras needed?

Yeah after doing some digging I found a website that basically tells you what you need and how to do it. Long story short this is an extemely in depth mod that requires a ton of parts and work. If I was going to do that I would just buy a crate motor. But I wont be doing that either because I am turning the truck more into a winter/offroad toy and honestly I have given up on power increases. It is a TBI after all.
Then when I am finished with school and get that lucritive job of my dreams I can just buy a new 3/4 ton D-Max and life will be great!

Yeah, when I did this to my 91 I bought the vortec intake (for the TBI setup) and the vortec centerbolt heads off my mechanic and he threw them on for me. I did the easy ****, he put the heads on. All I know is that it was more involved than I had originally thought, but they went together without a problem. I think he originally bought them as a set out of Summit for his work truck so the ports matched and all and all the TBI sh*t bolted right up to the intake.
