Is it possible to run subs off of factory radio?

I have 2 12" Type R 1500w subs that I took out of my Blazer sitting in the garage, I loved them but now that I can't fit them in my Silverado ext they're just sitting there. I found a good enclosure but wondering now if I can run these off of the factory radio since it doesn't have a subwoofer selection. If I install them I'll have them on at all times just like I did before, but using the seperate volume knob to lower them. Also, without different equalizer settings they'd always be running at the same setting. I had a Pioneer head unit with different sub settings, super bass, vocal, flat.. etc. Has this been done with the factory radio?

You will need an amplifier that has speaker level inputs.

That will be ok to run it like that.
