Default Power/HP Chips...

Is there a forum supporting vendor that carries these products?

Anyone care to share your with experience with these chips? G Force has one that advertises a 60 HP boost along with an increase of 4-7 mpg.

With todays gas prices it'll pay for itself in no time!

Thanks
Dan

60 HP and 4-7 MPG - I don't think so. If your driving a diesel the power gains are much higher but a gasser is never going to see 60 HP more out of a chip. Personally I would get your computer tuned over a chip, but don't expect to see anywhere near those gains.

Shamrock;

Wow! Did I misread this or are they misrepresenting?

GMC SIERRA C1500 GF Peformance Chip

I guess you could have a 1 HP gain; and still be in the "up to 60 HP gain" window.

Still; it would be interesting to hear from a chip user.

Thanks
Dan

Yeah they cover their butt with that "up to" disclaimer.

What kind of truck/ motor, etc... are you driving and wanting to install a chip into?

2000 Sierra 5.3

Any comments on your superchip?

I'm not trying to build a race truck; but if a chip can increase gas mileage and help towing parameters I'm OK with that!

Shamrock,

Have you got a link? All I see when googled is the American black bear, nature sites. I'm guessing you had something else in mind.

Thanks
