Hello i have an 04 fully loaded silverado ext cab it turns to the left effortlessly but you have to be the incredible hulk to turn it to the right when trying to turn right i get a hisssssssssssssssss almost like air escaping? anyone have or heard of this problem help would be greatly appreciated

 

could be a bad valve or vacuum leak or a bad rack and pinion.

im going to look into that for you really quick

 

thanks man i have been putting this off for a while not a good idea but have been going to school but ive had my limit now

 

i asked my instructor at school and he told me that sounds like a bad steering box
