Hi everyone, I'm new here and hoping for some good advice. I've searched and searched and haven't been able to find any info on mounting some 6.5 mids in the door of pre 1992 silverados. I've seen it done in alot of pictures online but can't find out how to go about it. I've got a few ideas but I'm hoping someone may have an easyer way. Thanks

 

LMC Truck offers a headliner that has 4 4" speakers in it and it is paintable it is suppose to neutralize the echo effect and it costs 269.95 plus 20.00 for oversize part charge u can view at LMCTRUCK.COM

 

I used the Q-Logic kick panel pods that house a 6.5 and a tweeter and they sounded great. Plus you don't have to chop into your door panels.

 

In my 90 model RCSB I ran Pioneer 3 Ways in the dasha nd the stocks in the rear pillars and added 2*10s behind the seat and it sounded good... and a lot of people like the way it sounded.
