ORIGINAL: urnhart Manual calls for AUTO-TRAK II FLUID What does that equate to in Royal Purple The Royal Purple Synchromax?? Also, anyone know what to run in the f&r diff's of a GMC Sierra '02 Z71? Royal Purple 75W90, or the Royal Purple 85W140??? Looking for some help here! Thanks. (oh also, what are the quantities needed for each?) |
RE: Quick Question-Transfer case fluid
Hey shredsled, props for searching your question before asking. I googled and most other postings/forums say there is NO sub for the GM fluid. However, Royal Purple has a cross-reference section on their site. BUYER BEWARE, ya know:

Yeah, I did a quick search hoping to turn up some solid info... but hard to find any. Hmm, not sure if I want to be one to guinea pig the Royal Purple in the Auto-Trac transfer case. Might stick with the GM fluid in that particular case. Do you know off hand which viscosity to put in the Diff's??? |
RE: Quick Question-Transfer case fluid
I'd like to have somethin more helpful to say but I have no idea what viscosity :)
