Default Recovery hook strength rating question

I'm just putting together a recovery kit (****** strap, bridle and shackles) and was wondering if anyone had information on the ratings of the vehicles recovery hooks as I can't seem to find any anywhere. (2010 Silverado 1500 Extended Cab)

It makes sense to me to have a strap want to fail before something on the vehicle does to protect the vehicle

Anyone know any info on this?

Wow! Well according to 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Review by Mike Levine its says:

Maximum gross vehicle weight rating: 7,000 pounds (4x4 crew cab, extended cab) (or 3175kg)

So that would be 2 x 3175kg = 6350kg or 6.35 metric tonnes or in reality for the sake of being pedantic 63kN

Would this be per hook?

In theory if it is then with a bridle connecting the 2 hooks it would be 127kN or 12,700KG or 12.7tonnes

I guess this is possible as the shackles I have are rated at 4.75 tonnes each
