The $185-$250 you save on the intake could go to something like headers, t-stat, tune... four tanks of gas...

Yup. You won't be let down for the price... And it looks stock when you pop the hood... You can get a t-stat, headers and tune and be in the 14's if you launch it well enough and have some cool air at the track... I'd say you'd be able to run with a 5.0 'stang... Or, a TPI F-body...

But see i dont race my truck since i work out of it. So i mainly just want to do stuff to help with gas milage.

It will give you just as good gas milage as any intake on the market...

Okay maybe i will go and do this tonight or in the morning along with the bypass and removing the pads. So again should i remove the pads even though i go i the mud a lot?
