Shakes
I had my 1997 Silverado Extend cab in for an alignment because it pulled to the left and had a shake in the steering wheel .But that did not fix it ,the shop could not find anything wrong. Got any idea what would make it do this?????

I would look and shake everything abouit the steering system. Jack up the front wheels and shake the wheels. I would not necessarily believe the alignment shop. It could be a ball joint or tie rod end or any number of things. Does it do it at any speed or start at a specific speed and is it only in the steering wheel. I'm thinking maybe a drive shaft issue, U joint for example. Maybe an out of round tire, swap front and rears to test. May be something as simple as a weight fell off the wheel.

Wheel bearings, check them on that side of the vehicle.

Rotate the tires and see if the shake goes towards the rear. I have the same problem and it is a bad tire.

Try also taking a tire off roll it on flat surface if she rolls straight there good if it falls on its face the cap is no good on the tire.
