First time poster just looking for some advice. I have a 2012 Sierra with 103,000 on it. Took it to dealership yesterday because of some bad noises under the hood. Long story short, it needs a new engine or a rebuild of the existing engine. About $7k for them to do either option. I'm going to let some other shops look at it also and see what they say and how much they would charge. I'm sure I could find someone to do it for less than $7k. Question is, do I put $5k-$7k in a 2012 truck or just go ahead and trade/sell it. What would you do? Thanks for the help.
