Default Silverado 2500 HD Lift, Leveling, Size

I just purchased a 2011 Silverado 2500 HD LTZ Crew Cab with a Standard bed this week and traded in my 2004 Silverado 1500. My old rig had a 6" Tuff Country lift and 35" Toyo Open Country M/T's, my plan is to lift the new truck but I have a couple of interesting considerations. The biggest issue is that the only parking at my work is an underground parking garage with 7' clearance, so I have to keep the truck under 84".

According to Chevy my new truck sits at 77.2" stock, the tires measure 32". Given that, I'm thinking that if I stick to a 4" lift and go to 35" tires I'll gain about 5.5" (4" on the lift, 1.5" on the tires) which will leave me at just under 83". I'm far from an expert on this stuff however, so I'm a little nervous that I'm not considering something or that some kind of fudge factor will put me over 7'. Is my math correct?

Also I know that the new Silverados are built to sit higher in the back, and I'm curious whether the suspension lift will even out the front and back? I'm also looking into getting a canopy (leaning towards the ARE Z series) but I'm worried that if the back still sits higher than the front after the lift, the back of the canopy will be higher than the cab and won't fit in the garage.

Thanks in advance for the help, I really appreciate it!

Take the blocks out from under the rear leaf springs to level it. Then measure the hieght to see where it is sitting height wise. Then get your lift kit and tires accordingly from there.
