Silverado 6.6 Diesel Question???
Can someone with a new body style diesel Silverado help? When I start my truck in the cold weather 35 degrees or colder it takes several minutes for my voltmeter to move from 12 to 14 volts. This only happens from a cold start. If I plug the engine heater in the night before and start it, the meter goes right up to 14. Is this normal? I was thinking there is maybe an engine heater working for a few minutes while the truck is running and this is sucking up the extra voltage? Could someone check their truck from a cold start. Thanks, Paul
