We have a 2000 Silverado stalling probelm. changed out the fuel filter. Doesn't seem to be the problem. The guy at the Chevy parts place said not to go to the extreme of changing out the fuel filter it was probably a $5.00 resistor in the electrical security system.Anyone have a problem with this?

 

Well first off a quick fuel filter change shouldn't be that bad anyway. 20$ was what I paid for mine on my 97. Also I had some stuttering problems with mine that turned out to be the distributor being off by 17 degrees. Might want to try looking into some possible timing problems.
