I am new to this forum because I haven't owned a pickup truck for a while. My most recent purchase was last year. It was a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS 2 Door V6 automatic. I have owned a 1999 Ford and a 2002 Dodge both 2 Door V6 automatic. I have noticed that the Chevy's ride is very stiff compared to what I had with the Ford and Dodge. I just use it as my daily driver and haul things every now and then.

Does anyone have ideas on how I might soften the ride on the Chevy pickup?

 

Give it time to break in. My truck was stiff at first too.

 

If you don't haul heavy loads then you could also take the overload springs off.
