Speaker and Amp Suggestions

I have a good Pioneer am/fm/cd stereo and want to upgrade the stock speakers and put an amp in. I dont want to compete with others just decent sound that is loud enough to hear over my 35" Mud Tires...any suggestions for what and where to buy and how much it will cost?

I dont need a sub.
