Suspension Lift
 

I am going to be installing a 6" suspension lift. Any brand reccomendations? I am leaning toward rough country. Any comments? 1997 K1500 Z71, Ext Cab, Short Bed, 5.7L

I like tuff country. I had one of their easy ride lifts on my 97 silverado. Really smooth ride, tones of supension travle it was just all around good in my mind. It was also a 6 incher.

if you do go with rough country get either their premium shocks or another brand of shocks. their shocks ride like absolute hell. other than that iknow 4 people with rough country lifts and they haven't had any issues out of them (other than ride quality, two of which have replaced shocks and they ride great)

First thing is make sure it will fit out the garage door when you are done!
