Suspension Rattle?
 

I have hada rattle either in the front or middle driver's side of my 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500. The problem isn't the well known "steering column knock". The rattle will only happen when i go over a bump on the driver's side. I have been under the truck numerous times and can not find anything loose or anything that could be causing this. Any Ideas?

how old are the shocks on it? could also be a worn out ball joint.

I would just turn the radio up louder and ignore it.

Look at trhose 2 "bars" under it by the oil pan..the 13mm bolts like to work loose

Shock are still original....there are 71,000 miles on the truck... I will check the bars by the oil pan

i'm having the same problem on my 06 silverado. ever figure out what the problem was?
