swapping W/T grill over to Silverado ??
 

Hi

I have a 1996 Cheyenne ext cab pick up that has that plain W/t grill I was wondering what I need to swap it over or if its even possible. I know I need to wire in different connectors for headlights but will Silverado headlights bolt right in?

You will have to change or modify the radiator housing

You could redneck megiver it... I'm not sure it would look good.
But as Dan said, You need to change out the hole rad support in order for it to bolt in. Even then, your looking at additional work. What year Silverado are you interested in? Cause your hood and fenders changed after 98

I'm hoping to swap to just a 96 grill but silverado look. So I would need a new rad. Mount off a silverado?

Yea. I made one work one time by rednecking it but its better to just change it.

Ok so all I need is,
• silverado rad. Mount
• silverado headlight connectors
• silverado headlights
• silverado grill
If I get all that I shouldn't have any problems swapping it over?

If your wanting the silverado look with the dual head lights yu have to change the front support,your vance and then install the grill and lights.Ironicaly I had the plain looking serria grill on my 94 and since I smashed mine Im going with the wt grill and painting it.
