sweet talker mufflers
okay so i got a few questions. this guy in my town has a 95 chevy 1500 with true duals that he made himself. from what i would tell it was 2-1/4" pipe from manifolds back. i asked him what kind of mufflers he has on it and he said sweet talkers. he got em at minute muffler. i did some reaserch on the net and couldnt find much about them, but i found them on the minute muffler website and it said they were presented by minute mufflers. so i was wondering if they are like a minute muffler brand or i could get them somewhere else? i also was wondering if they are a glasspack or a chambered muffler, cuz they have the deep throaty sound of a chambered muffler but the high end snap of a glasspack. i also wanted to know how much they cost? it is the most amazing sounding truck i have ever heard and i want my 76 c-10 to sound just like it.

RE: sweet talker mufflers
A "cherry bomb" muffler sounds like this. Same principle as the glasspack but in a bigger oval muffler-shell. I don't think its chambered, but it could be. Kinda like the Thrush turbo muffler.

i thought a cherry bomb was a glasspack?

RE: sweet talker mufflers
It a company name, like Thrush. They make a Cherry Bomb Turbo that is like the Thrush Turbo Muffler. But I was wrong they are just chambered mufflers, no glass inside dem. The Thush turbo sounds kinda like a glasspack but cleaner and deeper.

RE: sweet talker mufflers
but like the original cherry bomb was a glasspack i think... cherry bomb and imco or inco or whatever merged recently and thats when they started with the chambered muffler stuff... im pretty sure the original cherry bomb is a red glasspack...

Yeah the Cherry Bomb glasspacks are still red. Thrush makes red ones too.
