Default TBI Injectors not firing

It's a 1996 Chevy C1500 with a 350 V8 with of course a TBI system and I replaced fuel pump fuel filter Fuel pump solenoid and I checked the fuel pump to see if it's pumping and it is the way I checked was I disconnected fuel line before the fuel filter and tried to start truck and fuel spilled all over the drive way so i know fuel pump works but the weird thing is the fuel injectors are not getting any power so I will never get truck started and I do have spark I checked that to

any suggestions would be great

This isn't a tech section, so to get an answer, you may want to re-post this in the correct tech section and let a moderator know to delete this.

first all,it can't be a 96 if its tbi..probably a 95..if your getting spark for sure, get a test light and see if you have 12v to the injectors..if not, follow that

Well the reason I said it was a 96 is cause the guy who owns it told me that and I did use a test light to check for the 12 volts and nothing but when I run straight current to them they fire any suggetions?
