TBS and Air intake

how much fan shroud is a guy going to have to trim to make the 1" tbs and k&n intake work

You could take a tape measure and measure 1 inch from the closes spot between the two. Mark it and that should give you an idea how much.

I know white_noyez just did his a week ago so he should know. I think you can trim about half an inch and get away with it.

alot of the time you can get away with no trimming and get it to fit. but you shouldnt need to trim more then a half inch like smoke said.

i have the poweraid tbs with the airaid tubular intake and a k&n drop in and i cleared everything. didnt trim the shoud or anything for that matter

yeah but the airaid tubular intake is shaped more like the stock intake tube without the air silencer...it goes up over the fan shroud... the k&n intake tube is round, it has to go in front of the shroud
