Think i spun a rod Need some help!

So I was driving my truck and all of a sudden I started hearing slight knock I was only a half mile from my work so I took it easy the rest of the way there. As i pulled in the knock got louder and I shut it off immediately. I have a 1990 Chevy chevelle 350 small block. I am not that experienced in with engines but my friend listened to it at an ideal and said it sounds like I spun a rod bearing. I checked the oil level and it was good and the oil pressure was still holding 30. Anyone know if you can change the rod bearing by dropping the oil pan without taking the motor out? All advice is welcome!!

Thanks!

I would get a second or third opinion as a knock from a motor can come from several things besides a spun bearing. A bad harmonic balancer for example can sound similar. If it is a bad bearing, motor needs to be taken out for rebuild.

Check your flywheel too. I have heard loose flywheel bolts that sounded exactly like a bottom end knock. Did it knock on the way home from work?

I ended up not driving it back home i put it on a trailer and hauled it back home that way if it is i would get into the block. I started to listen to it agian when i got home and the knock isnt as bad when the truck is cool and as it warms up the knock got louder so i pretty sure its the rod bearings.
