Thinking about a lift for 1997 Silverado Z71

I am thinking about putting a 2 inch lift on my 1997 silverado Z71. Will my gas mileage drop a lot (i am only getting 12 right now).......What should i do???

From everyone I have heard your mileage will suffer a bit, but it si not that tragec. It also depends on your pedal pusher foot...lol
